NCA is READY for September!

 

As we all enjoy the last few weeks of August, our summer plans and planting—

Coming up on Saturday, September 8 is NCA’s Garden Shed Sale—Tool Time! ALL are welcome! Share this flyer with your friends! Drop off or bring your gently used gardening items and join us at the Arboretum for Arbor House Gift Shop’s blow-out Sale of the Season! As NCA winds down our many years of work at the Gift Shop, we invite all to come and celebrate our long history and involvement at the Arboretum. Along with the Sale, NCA members we will be answering gardening questions at the Ask A Gardener table! And we will have craft tables for adults and kids! Hours are from 9-12 and the Gift Shop will be open until 5 pm.  Please contact Estelle Noone (enoone05@gmail.com) or Brenda Holt (holtbrenda@aol.com) to volunteer!

All NCA Garden Clubs are busy in their a Garden For Every Garden Club garden now! PLEASE SEND IN YOUR FABULOUS PHOTOS NOW! Lisa Cort is creating the updated slide show and as promised, we want to highlight EVERY NCA CLUB’S GARDEN! Photos may be sent NOW to LFBCORT@aol.com. Please get your club’s photo in by September 9 so we can get the slide show ready for our NCA General Meeting on September 25!

Your talents are needed!  Please consider some important positions in our organization!  The Nominating Committee is considering applications on September 15th - don't miss out.  Complete your application today!

On Tuesday, September 25th, our Fall NCA Meeting will be full of good news and you want to be there! All are invited and all clubs are to have a representative at the Arboretum. We have a lot to celebrate and we want all to be part of the celebration! See you at the Arboretum at 9:30 am for refreshments, graciously sponsored by District II. Our General Meeting will begin promptly at 10 am. We will be honoring some very special NCA members and discussing AWARDS and ideas for your club! Bring a carful of garden club members!

NOW IS THE TIME to file your club’s paperwork for our NCA sponsored 501(c)3!
